An article in the NZ Herald yesterday has confirmed what I have been saying for a long time - women need to sell themselves better. The timing of the article is perfect as I am currently writing a workshop on this very topic.
Details of the upcoming workshop will be announced to subscribers of my 'Success' ezine first. If you want to be one of the first to hear about it, send me your email address and I will add you to my list. (Yes, I am still handling my list myself).
Women either take too soft an approach or too aggressive, making the mistake that they think they have to act like a man to close the sale. Not true. To adapt to the global economic situation we need to make the shift toward embracing our feminity and use it to our advantage.
We are good at talking, we are great at building relationships. Customers want authenticity - we have the savvy to give them that...but only if we are more aware of our delivery.
For more details about this topic, the upcoming workshop or any other women's issue, drop Kirstie an email (enquiry@90degreecoaching.co.nz) or leave a comment on this post.
